The Smith-Cotton Junior High Lady Tiger Volleyball played Marshall (Bueker Middle School) on Thursday night.

The Tiger A team was defeated for their first match loss of the season. “The Lady Tigers couldn’t get a handle on the Owls’ sharp serving, and never really gained momentum,” noted coach Henderson.

They lost in two sets, 25-21 , 25-10, for a 9-1 record thus far.

The Lady Tigers will compete in the Warsaw Tournament on Saturday.

“The Lady Tiger B team had some great volley play but were defeated in two sets,” coach Henderson said. No scores were made available for the B team.

The Lady Tigers take on Knob Knoster Tuesday evening at home.
