S-C Jr Hi football now 4-0 after blanking Lewis & Clark, 44-0

The Smith-Cotton Junior High eighth grade football team beat Lewis and Clark (Jeff City) 44-0 Tuesday in an away game.

Zach Powell and Brice Pannier each scored three touchdowns in the game. This is the third shutout for the team this season.

Their record currently stands at 4-0. The team has two games remaining on the schedule, including a home game against Thomas Jefferson Middle School on Oct. 15 starting at 5, and an away game at Warrensburg on Oct. 22.

The boys are coached by Brian Foster.
