Sacred Heart volleyball beats Smithton in two sets

The Sacred Heart Junior High won in three sets over Smithton Tuesday night at Smithton.

The JV won in 2 sets, 25-8, 25-18

Varsity won in 2 sets, 25-7, 25-11.

Hannah Willhoit had 7 kills and 1 kill block.

Morgan Bogue had 7 kills and 1 kill block and 8 digs

Grace Callis had 3 kills, 1 kill block and 1 assist

Erin O’Connor had 5 digs, 2 points and 1 ace.

Honor Kehde had 2 kills, 6 digs, 3 points, 1 ace and 12 assists.

Elizabeth Freels had 18 points 7 aces and 2 digs.

Bea Coruna had 2 digs and 4 points.

Julie Chancellor had 9 point 3 aces and 2 digs.

Hannah Orell had 3 digs.

SH varsity is now 11 wins, 5 losses and 1 tie, Conference record is 4 wins & 1 loss.

The varsity girls travel to Cole Camp Thursday and Saturday for the Kaysinger Conference Vollyeball Tournament, then play a home game against Northwest on Oct. 8.
