Lady Tigers down Cards in two sets

The Green Ridge Lady Tigers won big on Pink Night by downing the Lincoln Lady Cardinals in two sets, 25-4, 25-16, on Sept. 26. A special pink and white volleyball was used for the occasion. An auction of donated items followed the varsity game, dubbed “Volley for the Cure,” proceeds from which were donated to breast cancer research.

The Green Ridge Lady Tigers play Cole Camp Oct. 1 at Cole Camp, and return to Cole Camp on Thursday for opening night of the Kaysinger Conference Volleyball Tournament. Green Ridge  takes on Northwest at 5:30 p.m. and plays Windsor at 7:30 p.m. Finally, they play Cole Camp that night at 8:30 p.m.  Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia News Journal.
