School board votes 6-0 to sell stadium

On Monday, Sept. 9, the Sedalia School District 200 Board of Education voted 6-0 to approve the sale of Jennie Jaynes Stadium and its affiliated properties to the City of Sedalia and the Sedalia Park Board for $1 million. School board member Ken Coffelt was absent.

The contract stipulates payment in four annual installments of $250,000, beginning in April 2014.
