On Sunday, Sept. 8, Christ and Trinity Lutheran church took part in a day of service, “God’s Work. Our Hands.” As a way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, over 10,000 congregations were encouraged to roll up their sleeves and get to work in their communities.
Christ and Trinity sorted for Open Door Food Pantry and created health and wellness baskets for the women at the CASA shelter. In the afternoon members led the residents in Bingo. “It was a great day sharing love with the community,” said Pastor Kim Knowle-Zeller. Submitted photos.
