S-C softball scores big over Warsaw, 16-10

The Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers beat the Warsaw Lady Wildcats 16-10 in seven innings Thursday night, Sept. 5 at Richard Vansell Field in Sedalia.

The second inning was the biggest for S-C, with six runs scored.

Tiffany Hardy had  a triple and a double, while Madeline Kindle and Khelcy Hyde each had a double during the game.

 Hardy had four RBIs, while  Kindle and Hyde each had 2, and Kaytlin VanSteenburgh, Megan Ahern and Shelby Parker each had one RBI.

Keonna Williams reached on an error.

Sarah Bergman and Shelby Parker were reponsible for a double play.

S-C had their shares of errors. Keonna Williams had 2, Shelby Parker had 3, and Tiffani Dixon and Mariah Voitl each had one.

The Lady Tigers, now 4-3-0, play St. Pius at home Tuesday at 5 p.m., and hit the road for Boonville on Wednesday.
