The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce, pizza, drinks, a bounce house and face painting, as well as tours of the new facility and enrollment.
According to owners Jeremy and Sarah Thayer, their objective is to provide safe, loving care that will enable young children to feel secure and comfortable while away from parents and home. It is also to provide developmentally appropriate activities.
The program at Kreative Kiddos includes quiet as well as active times to ensure positive mental, physical and emotional growth. We help prepare children for school by providing activities for listening and following direction, activities for getting along in a group, and by providing many learning experiences, Thayer said.
Pamela Breid is the director of Kreative Kiddos Preschool, which offers full-time childcare and preschool for ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, a newer facility, trained and certified teachers, state assistance, well balanced meals, structured preschool program including; math, science, language arts, sensory, music, physical education, cooking and much more. The facility is very spacious, clean and secured. Breid said.
