KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – State Treasurer Clint Zweifel (ZWY-ful) announced today Maryellen Koch of Kirksville is the winner of the Kindle Fire HD, a $50 Amazon gift card and a backpack with school supplies given away by MOST–Missouri’s 529 College Savings Plan at the 2013 Missouri State Fair. “Higher education is important to Missourians and a record number of families are investing in MOST 529 accounts to help prepare for their children’s future,” said Treasurer Zweifel, who sponsors MOST 529. “I hope families like Maryellen’s who visited the fair were able to learn more about MOST and how it can help them save for higher education. The fair is a great place to talk about this program and I am glad we could give away this back-to-school bag to help Maryellen and her family prepare for this fall.”
