For the first time in at least 13 years, there will be an increase in admission prices at Smith-Cotton athletic events. Admission at Football games will be $5 for adults, $3 for visiting students, and $2 for Sedalia students.

Admission at Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Wrestling, and Track will be raised to $4 for adults, $3 for visiting students, and $2 for Sedalia students.

Junior High and sub-varsity only events will remain at $3 for adults, $2 for visiting students, and $1 for Sedalia students.

Athletic Passes will remain $40 for adults and $20 for students for at least another year. These passes are now an even greater value for those attending multiple games throughout the year. Passes can be purchased in the athletic office year round and at select events through September 12, according to S-C Athletic Director Rob Davis.

Davis added that “prices were raised to align us with conference and area schools. All but one conference school charges $5 for adults at football and all conference schools charged $4 at basketball and other sports. Gate revenues help subsidize all activities, not just those taking in money,” he explained.
