The Sedalia Air Evac Lifeteam base has been selected as the company’s 2013 Region 1 Community Service Base of the Year. Region 1 consists of Air Evac Lifeteam bases in Illinois, Indiana and Missouri.

The Community Service Base of the Year award is presented to the base in the Air Evac Lifeteam system that has shown outstanding community service in its market area.

“The Sedalia base is dedicated to being a part of the communities it serves,” said John Landis, regional director of base operations. “The employees have gone above and beyond to complete American Heart Association, landing zone, and CEU classes in all of their communities. They work with stakeholders and plan events that will truly benefit their communities.”
