State Treasurer Clint Zweifel (ZWY-ful) announced today 653 fair attendees found more than $58,000 in Unclaimed Property at the Missouri State Fair. This includes one lucky fairgoer who found $4,000 in Unclaimed Property. Treasurer Zweifel’s staff conducted more than 1,800 searches and talked to thousands of fairgoers about finding their Unclaimed Property.

“Every summer, my Unclaimed Property team helps hundreds of Missourians find their property at the Missouri State Fair,” Treasurer Zweifel said. “Returning Unclaimed Property to its rightful owners is an important part of my job as your State Treasurer. I work hard every day to find new partners and tools to make it easier for Missourians to find and claim their property. The Missouri State Fair is one of these partners, and I am proud of the work my Unclaimed Property team does to inform Missourians about Unclaimed Property at the fair.”

Anyone can search for Unclaimed Property anytime at www.ShowMeMoney.com. Missourians can also sign up to receive email notifications when new Unclaimed Property matching their information is added. Since January 2009, Treasurer Zweifel has returned $166 million to more than 547,000 account owners. For more information, go to www.ShowMeMoney.com or email ucp@treasurer.mo.gov.
