Sedalia School District Foundation board members Terri Paul, left, and Deidre Esquivel share the impact of the Major Saver discount card program, which brought in almost $26,000 for the district last year.

Sedalia School District 200 faculty and staff members gathered Monday morning for a back-to-school kickoff event in the Heckart Performing Arts Center at Smith-Cotton High School.

Superintendent Brad Pollitt welcomed more than 60 new members of the Sedalia School District 200 staff during Monday’s back-to-school event in the Heckart Performing Arts Center at Smith-Cotton High School. Pollitt also acknowledged the dozens of returning staff members who participated in professional development over the summer.

The annual rally is an opportunity to share updates from over the summer, acquaint new members with district policies and celebrate the start of classes.
