First UMC celebrates 125 downtown

First United Methodist Church is celebrating their 125th Anniversary in their downtown location at Fourth and Osage. The church was founded in 1860 and the ministry of the First United Methodist Church began in 1861.

Sedalia Mayor Elaine Horn signed a proclamation observing the anniversary Monday morning at the Municipal Building.
