S-C junior Abby Perkins, who has helped out with Skyline’s reading camp the past six years, reads 'Officer Buckle and Gloria,' by Peggy Rathmann.

Thursday was the final day for the summer reading camp program at Sedalia School District 200 elementary schools.

At Skyline Elementary, the day included live music by volunteer Noah Burnett, a Smith-Cotton High School junior, and a review of the Skyline Democrat, a newspaper the camp participants produced with the help of a Smith-Cotton Junior High freshman Bailey Smith.
