Della Allen

OATS, Inc., staff member Della Allen was appointed as a certified community transit manager (CCTM) by the Community Transportation Association of America. CCTM status marks the greatest performance and highest efficiency in the community transportation industry and shows that recipients have the ability to successfully manage a comprehensive and dynamic community transportation system.

Allen has been a member of the OATS team since 2010 and she holds the position of general operations supervisor for the Midwest Region in Sedalia.

To become a CCTM, a person must submit an application documenting their experience and accomplishments, and must pass a comprehensive three hour written examination. The exam addresses five transit related areas: — human resources management, operations management, financial management, transit development and procurement and contracting.

Allen is one of 14 OATS staff members to receive CCTM status.

Dorothy Yeager, Executive Director of OATS says, “This certification reflects a mastery of a variety of disciplines, all related to effective management of transit operations. Our employees’ dedication to being the best they can be is demonstrated by their willingness to earn this certification. We are very proud of Della and the others who have preceded her in these efforts.”
