JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Rep. Denny Hoskins, R-Warrensburg, has been named as a member of the Joint Committee on Legislative Research. Selected by the Speaker of the House, Timothy Jones, Rep. Hoskins will await assignment to one of the three subcommittees: oversight, revisions or personnel.

“I look forward to learning what capacity I will be serving on the committee,” said Hoskins. “Legislative Research is a vital department in state government, as it provides fiscal notes, bill revisions, and legislative library services. Assisting these functions will be educational for myself, and allow me to better serve my constituents,” he added.

No hearings have been scheduled at this time.
