La Monte U-15 girls take championship

The La Monte U-15 Girls Softball Team won the Kaysinger Youth Sports League championship for the 2013 season. They finished the regular season with a perfect record of 12-0.

For the second year in a row, they took first in the tournament, held July 13 – 17,  by defeating Green Ridge (Brown team), Windsor and Cole Camp. Other teams participating were Cole Camp, Smithton, Green Ridge (White team) and Lincoln. The team was sponsored for the eighth year by Venters Brothers Lawn Pros.
