Bothwell welcomes new financial officer

Jimmy Robertson Jr. has joined Bothwell Regional Health Center as its new chief financial officer.

Robertson is a certified public accountant with 18 years of health-care finance experience. He most recently served as chief financial officer of Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle in Columbus, Miss.

Robertson earned a master’s of business administration from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. He most recently was an owner and chief financial officer of Tennessee Tactical Technology in Columbus, Miss., and Michie, Tenn. He also has held health-care finance positions at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Covington, Tenn., and Home CPA Group in Nashville, and served as an auditor for Medicare and Medicaid intermediaries in Mississippi.

“We are very excited to have Jimmy join us,” said John Dawes, president and chief executive officer of Bothwell Regional Health Center. “Health-care finance is a complex system, and Bothwell will benefit greatly from his background and experience in finance.”
