The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners have signed Alecia Cooley for the 2013-2014 season.

Cooley played high school basketball for Head Coach Elliot Whitefield at Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Ill. She was named most valuable player both her junior and senior seasons. She averaged a double double her senior year, registering 11 points and 10 rebounds per game.

“She was highly recruited out of high school by quite a few Division I universities,” said Lady Roadrunners Head Coach Kevin Bucher. “We are very fortunate she chose SFCC. Alecia is a very mobile post player, a good scorer and rebounder. She will help complete our team.”
