SFCC’s Kids College has openings for last two weeks

Lego robotics, digital camera capers, dance, and creative writing and drawing are a few of the classes that will be offered during the third and fourth weeks of State Fair Community College’s third annual Kids College.

The program offers five-day classes for students entering pre-kindergarten through eighth grade next fall.

Classes will meet mornings or afternoons July 8-12 and July 15-19. Lego Robotics for students in grades 4-8 will meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fees vary from $45 to $169 per class based on materials and equipment used. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Early enrollment is advised; classes without minimum enrollment one week prior to start dates may be canceled.

Classes scheduled for Week Three, July 8-12, include:

•9 .m. to 4 p.m., Lego Robotics, grades 4-8, $169

•9 a.m. to noon—Digital Camera Capers, grades 6-8, $65; and Oink! Moo! Quack!, K-2, $65

•10 a.m. to noon—Want to Dance, grades 5-6, $45

•1-3 p.m.—Want to Dance, grades 7-8, $45

•1-4 p.m.—Munchie Math, grades 1-2, $65; and Once Upon a Time, grades 3-4, $65

Classes scheduled for Week Four, July 15-19, include:

•9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Lego Robotics, grades 4-8, $169

•9 a.m. to noon—Preschool Picasso, preschool, $65; and Creative Kiddos, K-2, $65

•1-4 p.m.—Creative Kiddos, grades 3-5, $65; and Write On!, grades 4-6, $65
