Buckner sentenced to 15 years for Sonic robbery

Jeffrey D. Buckner, Jr., 21, Sedalia, pleaded guilty to robbery in the second degree, admitting he was one of four young men who robbed the Sonic Drive-In on South Limit November 5. He was sentenced to serve 15 years in prison. Charges remain pending against two other young men; the other person involved in the robbery remains in juvenile court.

Similar charges are also pending against Buckner in Henry County for a robbery at a Sonic in Windsor on November 12.
