Lindsey Branson, instructional coach at Heber Hunt Elementary School, left, and Heber Hunt Principal Bill Betteridge, right, accept a $368 donation from Sedalia Literacy Council representative Betty Albrecht. The funds will be used to purchase headphones with microphones, which will be used to integrate technology in reading for fourth grade students.

Branson said students will be able to record their voices reading a story, working on fluency, and post the recording as a podcast for anyone to hear. Some of the funds also will be used to buy books. Photo courtesy Sedalia School District 200.
