The Sedalia Rotary Club’s annual scholarships were presented to outstanding students in the area high schools on Monday at Best Western State Fair Motor Inn, 32nd and Limit.

Each year, the Sedalia Rotary Club awards scholarships to senior students attending area high schools. Money for the scholarships is part of what is received at the club’s annual auction.

The six students shown in the group picture are Miranda Meyer, Claressa Chamberlin, Kaitlin Rodrigues, Hannah Ott, Mary Norfleet and Amanda Cook. Each of the five students received a $500 scholarships.

Amanda Cook received a $2,000 scholarship to be paid out over a four-year period. She is shown with District 200 Assistant School Superintendent Brad Pollitt. Mr. Pollitt is on the club’s Scholarship Committee and made the presentations to the students.
