(JEFFERSON CITY, MO) – Today, Speaker Tim Jones announced that Representative Stanley Cox (R-52) has been appointed to serve on the Bipartisan Investigative Committee on Privacy Protection, the independent committee which will be investigating allegations surrounding the Department of Revenue’s potential violations of Missourians’ privacy.

“Representative Cox will be a great addition to the committee, and I know he will work hard to find the truth about potential privacy violations and help formulate policies to reinforce the privacy protections Missourians count on. I have had the honor of working with the Representative for many years now, and I know he has the skill and the drive to get to the bottom of this situation,” said Speaker Tim Jones.
