Windsor track advances 13 to sectionals

The Windsor High Track team advanced 13 entries from district to this weekend’s sectional meet at Holden. Winning events for Windsor included the following: Tyler Brockman in the 100 (11.18), Brockman in the 200, Jacob Fleming in the discus (141′ 1″), and the 4×100 team of Brockman, Jerry Nelson, Nick Standon and Tristan Wetterow.

Brockman placed second in the long jump (20′ 2″). Finishing with third place points were Nelson in the high hurdles (16.47) and Dillyn Berschauer in the shot put (41′ 8″).

Third place finishers for the girls was the 4×100 relay of Shelby Williams, Madison Howard, Sami Baughman and Alli Wade (55.48). Williams placed third in the 400 (1:05.1) as did Jaelyn Prevete in the high hurdles (17.5).

Placing fourth for the Greyhounds were Williams in the 200 (29.0), Jodie Hamilton in the high jump (4′ 5″) and Kaitlin Mugler in the triple jump.
