Those seven, bright-red recycle bins surrounded by a brand-new wooden fence are pretty hard to miss as you drive past the Smith-Cotton Junior High on East 10th Street. That is the location of the City of Sedalia’s newest recycling satellite location (1002 S. Massachusetts), which is now open for use, according to Public Works Director Bill Beck.

The recycling bins accept newspapers, office paper, magazines, cardboard, plastics, aluminum cans, tin cans and glass. Each one is clearly labeled for the proper item, and can be used 24 hours a day.
