Green Ridge Lady Tigers blank Cole Camp

The Green Ridge Lady Tigers shutout Cole Camp 5-0 in a Kaysinger Conference game Thursday night at Green Ridge.

Green Ridge scored three runs in the second inning and added two more in the fourth.

Sammi Unkel tossed a five-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts for Green Ridge.

Molly Turner went 2-for-3 with a double and an inside-the-park home run. Ragin Dillon had a single and double in three trips and drove in a run. BreAnna Peck went 2-for-3 with a single and double.

Green Ridge improved to 1-2 overall and 1-0 in the Kaysinger.

Emily Kollbaum went 2-for-3 to lead Cole Camp’s five-hit attack.

MacKenzie Gudde allowed five runs (four earned), eight hits, struck out five and walked none to take the loss for Cole Camp.
