He worked at Ewing Vocational Center for over 17 years. He was proud of his work as a gardener and was looking forward to the growing season as the nusery began its second year. He enjoyed his work and the many co-workers he worked with.
He is survived by his mother; his sister, Jennifer DeLapp and her husband, John of Higginsville; two brothers, Joe Randy Richardson, of Norbourne, and Jack Anthony Richardson, of Sedalia; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Cynthia; his sister, Melody Lee Brown; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He will be honored with a Celebration of Life Service at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 4 at Parkview Christian Chuech with Rev. Rodney Brown officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jeanne Richardson in care of Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home.
