On Friday March 22nd, 2013 the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Emergency Medical Services Bureau conducted a very detailed inspection of the Pettis County Ambulance District.

The inspection included medical protocols developed by District Administrator Mike Gardner and Dr. David Gustafson, our Medical Director, and inspection of an ambulance, and other items required by the State of Missouri.

“We are pleased to announce that due to that inspection the Pettis County Ambulance District has now been listed as a Ground Ambulance Service in the State of Missouri. Mike Gardner our District Administrator stated that this license is another big step towards making the district a fully operational Emergency Medical Service.

“With our goal of providing ground based ambulance services within our district this fall, the license allows us to operate and bill for services,” said Dave Clippert, Sedalia-Pettis County Emergency Management Agency director, on March 29.
