The Smith-Cotton Lady Tiger soccer team is having no trouble finding the back of the net and their defense has been quite stingy.
S-C posted their second straight 5-0 shutout Thursday evening, blanking Father Tolton of Columbia on a soggy, snowy Susie Ditzfeld Memorial Soccer Field.
S-C improved to 2-0 on the season and has outscored their opponents 10-0.
In Thursday night’s win, Jac Greer and Kelsey Webb had a goal and an assist each for the Lady Tigers. Megan Lollis tallied a goal and assisted on three others. Olivia Funk and Lexi Webb each scored a goal.
Jessica Cooper recorded the shutout in the nets.
On March 19, S-C shutouts O’Hara 5-0 in a West Central Conference match in Kansas City.
Greer scored twice and assisted on two others. Jill Vansel scored a pair of goals. Lexi Webb scored a goal and Lollis had three assists.
