The Smith-Cotton Lady Tiger soccer team is having no trouble finding the back of the net and their defense has been quite stingy.

S-C posted their second straight 5-0 shutout Thursday evening, blanking Father Tolton of Columbia on a soggy, snowy Susie Ditzfeld Memorial Soccer Field.

S-C improved to 2-0 on the season and has outscored their opponents 10-0.

In Thursday night’s win, Jac Greer and Kelsey Webb had a goal and an assist each for the Lady Tigers. Megan Lollis tallied a goal and assisted on three others. Olivia Funk and Lexi Webb each scored a goal.

Jessica Cooper recorded the shutout in the nets.

On March 19, S-C shutouts O’Hara 5-0 in a West Central Conference match in Kansas City.

Greer scored twice and assisted on two others. Jill Vansel scored a pair of goals. Lexi Webb scored a goal and Lollis had three assists.
