Vickie Norton, left, and Connie Kleinschmidt, right, members of the Eldorado United Methodist Church Family Circle, presented 10 homemade quilts to Pettis County Sheriff Kevin Bond on Wednesday, March 20 to be placed in the department’s 10 patrol vehicles to be used in emergencies.

The 63-by-75-inch “Care Quilts” were made with donated fabric and time by seven individuals working on the project since late summer. The quilts will be placed in the Sheriff’s Department’s vehicles by tomorrow. Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia News Journal.
