Two car crashes last Sunday resulted in minor injuries to the drivers, one of them from Clinton.
The first accident occurred at 6:21 p.m. in Saline County on Interstate 70 and involved a 2007 Toyota driven east by Jennifer D. Feltner, 31, Columbia.
According to the patrol’s preliminary report, the car traveled off the left side of the highway and struck a median guard cable. Feltner was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for treatment.
The second accident occurred at 7:45 p.m. in Henry County on Highway 7, a mile north of Urich, and involved a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Leonard L. Cooper, 38, Clinton.
That accident, the patrol reported, occurred when Cooper’s car, headed north on the highway, struck a deer. Cooper, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital by private vehicle, the patrol said.
