Lady Roadrunners fall in regular-season finale

The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners dropped their regular-season finale 86-72 to the Mineral Area Community College Cardinals Saturday in Park Hills, Mo.

Antoinette Taylor led the Lady Roadrunners with 27 points with one trey. Adella Randle El added 10 points with two treys. Apiphany Woods scored nine and Sannayiahh Johnson and Asia Mosley added eight points each.

Johnson and Woods each had eight rebounds.

Mineral Area had five players score in double figures, led by Chelsea Pannier with 22 points. Pannier is the niece of SFCC athletic director Darren Pannier.

Mineral Area led 44-34 at the half and led by as many as 19 at 69-50 in the second half.

The Lady Roadrunners finished their regular season with a 20-9 overall record and 4-6 in Region XVI. .
