Book sale nets over $600 for BRHC Auxiliary

During the February meeting of the BRHC Auxiliary, Christine Detherage showed the teddy bear she had dressed to depict an auxiliary member. The bear named, Charity Hope, will be donated to the Relay for Life team, Happy Feet, and will be auctioned off at the American Cancer Society auction on April 27.

The used book sale netted over $600.

Betty Sue Viterna announced that nominations for the Marian Tempel Award were due Feb. 15. The winner will be announced at the Spring Luncheon April 23.

Awards for the month of January included: Carol Ackerman/4500, Eleanor Elliott/6500, Betty Hall/100, Karen Hamilton/25, Sandy Mayfield/1000, Marcy Sandidge/25 and Donna Thompson/2000. A total 1013 volunteer hours were worked in January.

A $5 Jewelry Sale will be held March 7 – 8 in the Bothwell Hospital Cafe. The public is encourage to attend and support the Auxiliary.
