Health and quality of life are two very important things and Sedalia’s newest toning and massage business, Toning Table Time, are making that their focus since opening on the 17th of January.
Toning Table Time is located at 2710 W. Broadway, Suite 3 of the Cambridge Center.
Owner Elaine Graham was asked what kind of services are offered at Table Toning Time.
“We offer six toning tables. What they do is they tone muscle, they tighten and break down cellulite and they increase flexibility,” Graham said.
Graham was asked how she learned about toning tables.
“I had been to Table Talk in the 90s and had used that to keep my muscles strong in the winter, to keep my back strong to move patients,” Grahm said.
Graham is a Registered Nurse at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She added, “When I saw that Dr. Yates had a couple of tables, I asked him if he wanted to go into business with toning tables. He was very positive about that.
“Cherie had mentioned it to Linda Lemler about toning tables, and she had these all in her basement very nicely stored.
“After the holidays, we talked with Linda and she was willing to sell them to us.”
Customers that take advantage of the toning tables will be met with fair prices on sessions.
One session is only $10. If a customer purchases five sessions, they save $15 off the price, putting the total at $35. For 12 sessions the cost is $60.
Toning tables are not the only service they offer at Toning Table Time. They also have an organic juice bar and a licensed masseuse, Cherie Bardon-Wolfe, who provides a wide variety of massage therapy and reflexology techniques.
Cherie Bardon-Wolfe is a licensed massage therapist with 20 years of experience.
Wolfe offers a wide variety of massages, including Swedish, athletic medical and prenatal. She also provides reflexology services and couples massage therapy.
Rates for a one hour full body massage is set at a reasonable $50. Customers can also have the application of essential oils and hot stones for an extra price.
Another service mentioned is Toning Table Time’s Juice Bar.
They have a variety of healthy drinks including the Berry Bliss, a drink which includes fresh, organic strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and almond milk.
The goal is to serve organic vegetables and fruit for you most excellent health benefit, according to the menu.
“The juice bar is open to help people with nutritious drinks. We juice all kinds of fruits and vegetables,” Grahm said.
All servings are 16 ounces.
Graham was asked how the response has been since opening in January.
“It’s been good. They have been calling us and coming in to check out what we have. They have been commenting on the decor,” she said.
Grahm was asked what their goal is in helping people.
“We have been teaching and helping people learn how to exercise. Stress, anxiety and fear are the hardest things on our health. Come in and we will help you destress. We will pamper you and pray with you if the need is there,” Graham said.
