The Northwest Mustangs beat the Slater Wildcats 45-35 Thursday night at Slater.
Slater led 10-8 after one quarter, but Northwest held Slater to two points in the second quarter and led 20-12 at the half. The Mustangs took a 31-17 lead into the fourth quarter
Cody Wicker led Northwest with 15 points and eight rebounds. Cortlen Austin added 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Quincy Wicker had nine points.
Northwest finished the regular season 10-16.
