Green Ridge edges Santa Fe on road

The Green Ridge Tigers ended their regular season Thursday night with a 73-68 win over the Santa Fe Chiefs at Alma, Mo.

Santa Fe led 20-17 after the first quarter, Green Ridge led 34-30 at the half and Santa Fe led 57-50 after three quarters.

Axton Harding and Austin Story both scored 21 points to lead Green Ridge. Hayden Doane contributed 18 points.

Story grabbed seven rebounds and blocked four shots. Justin McCarthy had four steals. Harding and Doane each dished out six assists.

Green Ridge finished its regular season 15-9 overall and 6-3 in the Kaysinger Conference. In a rarity, they had a winning record of 5-3 on the road.
