Lady Roadrunners, Roadrunner men swept at home

The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners lost 85-71 in overtime to the Crowder Community College Lady Roughriders and the Roadrunner men lost 77-65 to the Missouri State-West Plains Grizzlies Feb. 13 at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center;

Mia Wesley led the Lady Roadrunners, 19-7, with 19 points and four treys. Antoinette Taylor added 16 with two treys and Adella Randle El added 12. Sannayiahh Johnson pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.

Crowder led 34-31 at the half and the game was tied 69-69 at the end of regulation. SFCC made just two free throws in the overtime while Crowder scored 16 points.

Men’s Game

MSU-West Plains 77, State Fair 65

After beating the Grizzlies by 31 points three weeks ago at West Plains, the Grizzles turned the tables on the Roadrunners.

Joe Thomasson led the Roadrunners with 25 points and three treys. Kenny Chery added 16 with two treys and pulled down nine rebounds.

SFCC fell to 19-7 on the season.

The Roadrunner teams hosted Moberly Saturday night.
