Girl Scout cookies are here and ready for sale now in the Sedalia area, according to Girl Scout Troop Leader and Station Manager Charlotte Scholl. Cookies arrived around 1 p.m. today at Camp Sacajawea, and will be available for sale at various cookie booths in the Sedalia area soon, including such locations as Woods, Wal-Mart, Bings and Menards, Scholl said.

The cost is $4 per box with eight different varieties — Thanks-A-Lot, Lemonades, Shortbread, Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Caramel Delights, Best Seller Thin Mints — and the newest cookie Mango Cremes.

A total of 1,270 cases of cookies were delivered to the Sedalia area. For more information on where to buy your cookies, call Scholl at 827-5851. Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia News Journal.
