The Smith-Cotton wrestling season came to an end Saturday as none of their 13 wrestlers placed high enough to advance at the Class3 District 4 at Liberty North High School.
At 106 pounds, S-C’s Kyle Perez went 0-2 losing by forfeit and by pin. At 113 pounds, Logan Parham went 2-2, winning by decision and by a pin. He lost by pin and by a major decision. Luke Archibeque went 0-2 at 120, losing by pin and by decision.
At 126 pounds, Zach Wooldridge went 0-2, losing by tech fall and by a major decision. At 132, Tanner Proctor went 3-2. He won two matches by pin and one by decision. He lost one by pin and one on a decision.
At 138, Caleb Hurley went 0-2, losing by pin and by decision. At 145, Colin Debow went 0-2, losing both matches by major decision. At 152, Noah Aziere went 0-2, losing by decision and on an ultimate tie breaker. At 170, Petr Tysmbal went 1-1, winning on a pin and losing on a decision.
At 182 pounds, Wade Hagebusch went 3-2. He pinned two opponents and won a third by decision. He lost by pin and by decision. At 195, Trevor Slivkov went 1-2. He won by pin and lost twice by pin. At 220, Kyler Taber went 0-2, losing both matches by pin. At 285, Dylan Keele went 0-2, losing both matches by pin.
