Dr. Crook
Dr. Shawn Crook has joined the staff of Bothwell Regional Health Center as an anesthesiologist.
He received his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, and completed his residency in anesthesiology at Northeast Regional Medical Center, Kirksville.
Dr. Crook previously practiced at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
“Dr. Crook is a wonderful addition to the Bothwell medical staff and to our surgical team,” said John Dawes, president and chief executive officer of Bothwell Regional Health Center. “We are glad to have him join us.”
Dr. Crook, who began his new position on Jan. 28, will be involved with anesthesia care, including pre-surgical assessment, delivery of anesthesia during surgery and post-surgical pain control. The anesthesia department also initiates and monitors labor epidurals in Bothwell’s Women’s Health Unit.
