SFCC women down North Ark at home

The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners whipped the Northern Arkansas Community College Lady Pioneers 91-70 Wednesday night at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center.

The Lady Roadrunners improved to 18-6 overall and 3-2 in conference. They pushed their record at home to 11-1.

Antoinette Taylor led the Lady Roadrunners with 21 points and was 4-for-9 from three-point land. She had three rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Sannayiahh Johnson added 14 points with three treys. Mia Wesley had 13 with three treys, two assists and four steals. Adella Randle El scored 10 with a pair of treys, five rebounds, eight assists and three steals. Julia Torres had nine points and a team-high six rebounds and Apiphany Woods scored eight.

As a team, the Lady Roadrunners were 12 of 25 from beyond the 3-point line (48 percent).

Allia Wade led North Ark with 17 points and three treys. Janna Case added 13, Brooke Poole and Destiny Prochaska 10 each.

The Lady Roadrunners are averaging 71 points per game at home and 70.1 points overall per game.
