Norton named S-C principal

Wade Norton

In closed session on Monday, January 28, 2013, the Board of Education of the Sedalia #200 School District, hired Mr. Wade Norton to be the Smith-Cotton High School Principal for the 2013-2014 school year.

Prior to becoming the Principal at Smith-Cotton Jr. High School for the past two years, Mr. Norton was the Principal for five years at Heber Hunt Elementary, Principal at Skyline Elementary for three years, and an elementary teacher at Skyline Elementary for six years.

Mr. Norton is a graduate of Smith-Cotton High School who holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and an Education Specialist degree, both from William Woods University.

Wade and his wife, Jennifer, have six children.
