Northwest Lady Mustangs rally from behind to win

The Northwest Lady Mustangs rallied from 18 points down to beat the Smithton Lady Tigers 46-40 in a Kaysinger Conference game Tuesday night.

Northwest took advantage of several Smithton turnovers to tie the game in the fourth quarter and iced the game away with strong free throw shooting down the stretch.

Northwest made 17 of 26 free throws in the game.

Paige Norfleet led the Lady Mustangs with 19 points. Lindsey Blaylock had six points and seven rebounds. Lakota Wiskur had four points and nine rebounds Jessi Zimmerman scored 12 points.

No stats were reported by Smithton.
