The Eldon Mustangs, coached by former Smith-Cotton Coach Jimmy Lincoln, beat the Cole Camp Bluebirds 67-62 in the championship game of the Stover Tournament Saturday night.
Tanner Oelrichs and Brendan Rusk each scored 19 for Cole Camp, 10-3. Michael Brockman added 11.
Blake Randall led Eldon with 20 points.
In other boys’ final-round games Saturday night, Versailles clobbered School of the Osage 65-24 in the third-place game and Holden whipped Stover 69-40 in the consolation final
Garrett Goetz led Stover with 12 and Matt Frick added 10.
Oelrichs was named the Most Valuable Player. He was joined by teammates Brockman and Rusk on the All Tournament Team. There were no selections to the All Tournament Team from Stover.
