Bothwell Regional Health Center has announced the addition of David Floyd and Dr. David Kuhlmann to its Board of Trustees following appointment by Mayor Elaine Horn and the City Council. Filling these two positions completes the nine-member Board of Trustees for the health center.
“We have an exceptional health-care facility and system, which face many future challenges,” said John Dawes, president and chief executive officer of Bothwell Regional Health Center. “Through their membership and participation on our board of trustees, Mr. Floyd and Dr. Kuhlmann will assist us as we strive to provide excellent patient care while meeting the many regulatory requirements of the health-care industry and uncertainties of the Affordable Care Act.”
Floyd has served on the Bothwell Regional Health Center Foundation Board of Directors since it was formed in September 2005 and has been board president since January 2007. He will remain a member of the Foundation Board.
Dr. David Kuhlmann is a board certified neurologist and sleep specialist, who joined Bothwell in August 2006. He serves as medical director of the hospital’s sleep centers in Sedalia and Warsaw. He is president of the Pettis County Medical Society and is a vice counselor for the Missouri State Medical Association. Dr. Kuhlmann also serves as president of the Missouri Sleep Society and chairman of the accreditation committee for the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
