The first eight-week classes begin Jan. 14; the second eight-week classes begin March 12. A total of 63 day and evening classes are offered and include many general education courses needed for all majors. Seven 16-week classes that begin Jan. 14 are also offered at Whiteman.
Students enrolled at SFCC-WAFB can earn an Associate of Arts transfer degree and an Associate of Arts in Teaching degree as well as an Associate of Applied Science degree in Paraprofessional Educator.
SFCC is a GEM partner with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and offers general education courses online for Air Force personnel who want to complete CCAF Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree requirements. For several years the college has been named to the G.I. Jobs Military Friendly Schools list.
Active duty military personnel and their dependents receive SFCC’s in-district tuition rate, the lowest available rate, no matter where they are located.
SFCC offers more than 40 degree programs in the arts and sciences, business and career and technical fields, plus an Associate of Arts degree for transfer to a four-year college, an Associate of Arts in Teaching degree, and an Associate of Science in Engineering or Chemistry degree. Some programs also offer Professional and Skills Certificates for students interested in learning specialized skills that could lead to quick employment.
New programs and courses are now available in Computed Tomography and Phlebotomy, as well as a fast track 16-week Structural Welding Certificate.
The college offers more than 270 online classes, plus complete degree programs online—an Associate of Arts degree or an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management.
