Judith Emmeline Puffinbarger, 70, of Sedalia, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at University Hospital, Columbia.
She was born on Feb. 22, 1942, in Ashland, Ohio, a daughter of Marshall and Drucilla (Kiser) McQuate.
On Aug. 30, 1962, in Ashland, Ohio, she was married to Larry Puffinbarger, who preceded her in death in 2008.
She enjoyed crafts, crocheting and Keno. She was a Women of the Moose Lodge member #1242, Sedalia.
She is survived by two children, Serenna Thornton of Sedalia and Donald “Barney” Puffinbarger of Sedalia; two grandchildren, Angel Thornton of Sedalia and Glenn Thornton of Sedalia; two sisters, Janet Vaughn of Polk, Ohio; and Jane Fisher and her husband Larry of Howell, Mich.; one brother, Marvin McQuate and his wife Marjorie of Polk, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Adam Thornton officiating.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are suggested to The Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral chapel.
