Sabrina Marquess, CPA, with Wilson, Toellner & Associates, LLC, has been named Outstanding Young Professional by the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).
She was chosen for her committed involvement in the CPA profession, as well as her volunteerism and leadership efforts within her community and firm. Marquess was honored for her achievements at the MSCPA’s Western Region Awards Gala on Oct. 30.
An MSCPA member since 2001, Marquess joined Wilson, Toellner & Associates in 2006. During her tenure, “Sabrina has been a shining example of integrity and professionalism… going the extra mile when serving her clients, analyzing their needs and finding solutions in their best interest, and educating them so they understand the service and value she is providing,” says Ron Toellner, CPA, managing partner of Wilson, Toellner & Associates.
In addition, Marquess personally gives of her time and talents within her community by volunteering with Citizens Against Spousal Abuse, Women’s Service League, Smith Cotton High School, and her alma mater Northwest Missouri State University. She is also active in the CPA profession, serving on the leadership group in the MSCPA’s Central Chapter, Young Professionals Committee, and Accounting Careers Committee.
The MSCPA also selects outstanding certified public accountants in the areas of government, education, business and industry, and public service.
The MSCPA is the largest professional association dedicated to advancing CPAs in Missouri. Established in 1909, the organization provides members with continuing education and governmental advocacy, while working to further the future of the accounting profession through student-focused initiatives.
